Bob White has exhibited widely in the UK, Europe and Japan where he also has work in private and public collections. Current work develops the relationship of
line and form through the making process, that is the line delineates the form,
which is expressed through colour washes into the support (calico). The imagery
becomes part of the surface and evolves through it and on it as a result of
overpainting, drawing and washing. The washing has an integrating function,
joining the paint, calico and line within the surface.
